Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, PhD, he received the title of Honorary Professor of Ovidius University of Constanta, and has been working at the TSU Institute of Philosophy since 2005; he heads Antimoz, the Iberian Philology and Theology Research Centre. From 2011 to 2014 was Deputy Head of the Institute of Philosophy and the Head of Quality Assurance at TSU. He has written approximately 60 scholarly works including textbooks and monographs; has participated in a number of national and international grant projects and was the chairperson of international conferences in Georgia, the USA, Italy, Israel, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, etc.
